Predstavnici Razvojne agencije Žepče sudjelovali na događaju kapitalizacije projekata Dunavske regije i partnerskom sastanku projekta DANUBE WOOD(S) ROUTE
Dana 25. i 26. 6.2026. Beograd je ugostio projektne partnere, predstavnike projekata i institucionalne dionike iz cijele dunavske regije tijekom dvodnevnog događaja posvećenog suradnji, razmjeni znanja i budućnosti kulturnog turizma. Događaj je organizirao Danube Competence Center (DCC), a okupio je brojne predstavnike projekata i institucija s ciljem jačanja međusobne suradnje i razmjene iskustava.
Predstavnici Razvojne agencije Žepče sudjelovali su na Capitalization Event of the 1st and 2nd Call Danube Region Programme Projects, koji je okupio predstavnike projekata financiranih kroz Program transnacionalne suradnje Dunavske regije s ciljem razmjene iskustava, predstavljanja rezultata projekata te jačanja suradnje među projektima i institucijama diljem dunavske regije. Razvojna agencija je predstavila svoja dva projekta koja implementira korz ovaj program: CAST (Culture trAnSforming communiTies and economies) i Danube Wood(s) Route.
Tijekom dvodnevnog boravka održan je i redoviti sastanak projektnih partnera projekta DANUBE WOOD(S) ROUTE, na kojem su partneri raspravljali o pripremi aktivnosti za završno razdoblje provedbe projekta, daljnjem jačanju međusobne suradnje te definiranju ključnih elemenata buduće transnacionalne šumske rute. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na finalizaciju planiranih rezultata, usklađivanje zajedničkih aktivnosti i osiguravanje dugoročne održivosti projekta nakon njegova završetka.
Projekt DANUBE WOOD(S) ROUTE usmjeren je na valorizaciju i promociju šumske i drvne baštine dunavske regije kroz razvoj jedinstvene transnacionalne kulturne rute. Povezivanjem prirodne i kulturne baštine, razvojem turističkih itinerara, uključivanjem lokalnih dionika te stvaranjem novih turističkih sadržaja, projekt doprinosi razvoju održivog turizma i obogaćivanju turističke ponude uključenih područja.
Za područje Žepča projekt predstavlja značajnu priliku za promociju lokalne prirodne i kulturne baštine, razvoj novih turističkih proizvoda te povećanje prepoznatljivosti destinacije na međunarodnoj razini. Kroz uključivanje lokalnih zajednica, obrazovnih ustanova, udruga, turističkih djelatnika i drugih dionika stvaraju se preduvjeti za razvoj održivih oblika turizma, povećanje broja posjetitelja te dugoročni gospodarski razvoj temeljen na očuvanju i interpretaciji bogate šumske baštine.
Representatives of the Development Agency Žepče Participated in the Capitalization Event of Danube Region Projects and the DANUBE WOOD(S) ROUTE Partner Meeting
On 25 and 26 June 2026, Belgrade welcomed project partners, project representatives, and institutional stakeholders from across the Danube Region for two days dedicated to cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the future of cultural tourism. The event was organised by the Danube Competence Center (DCC) and brought together numerous representatives of projects and institutions with the aim of strengthening cooperation and exchanging experiences.
Representatives of the Development Agency Žepče participated in the Capitalization Event of the 1st and 2nd Call Danube Region Programme Projects, which brought together representatives of projects funded under the Danube Region Programme with the aim of exchanging experiences, presenting project results, and strengthening cooperation among projects and institutions across the Danube Region. The development agency presented its two projects implementing through this program: CAST (Culture trAnSforming communiTies and economies) and Danube Wood(s) Route.
During the two-day visit, a regular meeting of the DANUBE WOOD(S) ROUTE project partners was also organised. The partners discussed preparations for the final implementation period of the project, further strengthening mutual cooperation, and defining the key elements of the future transnational forest route. Particular emphasis was placed on finalising planned outputs, coordinating joint activities, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the project after its completion.
The DANUBE WOOD(S) ROUTE project focuses on the valorisation and promotion of the forest and wood heritage of the Danube region through the development of a unique transnational cultural route. By connecting natural and cultural heritage, developing tourism itineraries, engaging local stakeholders, and creating new tourism products and experiences, the project contributes to the development of sustainable tourism and the enhancement of the tourism offer of the participating regions.
For the Municipality of Žepče, the project represents an important opportunity to promote local natural and cultural heritage, develop new tourism products, and increase the destination's visibility at the international level. Through the involvement of local communities, educational institutions, associations, tourism stakeholders, and other relevant actors, the project creates preconditions for the development of sustainable forms of tourism, an increase in visitor numbers, and long-term economic development based on the preservation and interpretation of rich forest heritage.
